Basically, what does this quote mean? Btw, I’m pretty sure it’s by Thomas Edison. “Every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.”…What does that mean? Forgive my being slow, put it in simpler terms please? Thank you in advance. 🙂

He’s saying by failing, he’s learning. As in, when he failed to create a working light bulb, he learned from it. By learning from it, he took a step foward. He learned how NOT to make a working light bulb.
