Question by cara_mia_ti_amo: Charles Darwins “The Origin of Species”?
Why is Charles Darwins book now sold and titled as “The Origin of Species” rather than its original title of “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life”? The book was released in 1859 just prior to the Civil War, was Darwin a Racist? Why did he refer to Africans as savages that would become extinct?
