I’m not sure if any of you have ever heard about Jim Rohn but if you haven’t you owe it to yourself to look him up on YouTube. Jim was an amazing marketer with a large amount of famous quotes. Below is one of my favorite videos of Jim. I am also going to post his Bio below.
Jim Rohen ‘s Bio
For more than 40 years, Jim Rohn honed his craft like a talented artist-helping folk around the globe sculpt life methods that have expanded their imagination of what is possible. Those that had the privilege of hearing him talk can attest to the elegance and common-sense of his material. It is no coincidence, then, that he’s widely thought of as one of the most influential thinkers of our time, and thought of by many as a national treasure. Jim wrote countless books and audio and video programs, and helped inspire and shape a whole generation of personal-development trainers and hundreds of executives from America’s top corporations.
Born to an Idaho farming family in the mid-1900s, Jim was firmly established with a work ethic that has served him well thru his life. At twenty-five, he met his coach Earl Shoaff. And over the next six years he made his first fortune, yet failed to get into speaking till he moved to Beverly Hills, California, when a chum at the Rotary Club asked him to inform his success story, which Rohn titled’Idaho Farm Boy Makes It to Beverly Hills.’
His speech went over so well that he received more invitations to share it, and better yet, they started paying him for it. At the start, he spoke in front of school and high-school classes and at service clubs, before heading off to conventions in 1963, which launched him into the personal-development business. From then on, Jim Rohn turned into a pathfinder in the self help and personal development industry, impacting the lives of millions thru his life-changing material.
Jim Rohn focused on the fundamentals of human behavior that most affect private and business performance. His is the standard to which those that attempt to teach and inspire others are compared. He possessed the unique ability to bring phenomenal revelations to ordinary elements and events, and the blend of his substance and style captures the imagination of those people who hear or read his words.
Jim is commonly known as one of the great wordsmiths of our time. Here is a sampling from Jim’s Treasury of Quotes that think about his philosophy on life and business :
Skills : Don’t wish it were less complicated ; wish you were better. Don’t wish for less Problems ; wish for more talents. Don’t wish for less challenges ; wish for more knowledge. Change : We generally change ourselves for one of 2 reasons : inspiration or desperation. Activity : The few who do are the envy of many who watch.
Success : Success is what you attract by the person you become.
