Q&A: If everything was made by coincidence?
Question by iBegtoDiffer_21: If everything was made by coincidence?
According to many non creationalists, the world and all natural life forms including human life are a by-product of chance. And if this is the case, then we like other life forms, are simply a mass of clongermarted molecules that essentially have no meaning and purpose. Evidently, the human brain, the mind, the very thing we use to rationlize and form logical conclusions with, is also a by-product of this great “coincidence.” Therefore our chance induced thoughts, are meaningless thoughts, and cannot be trusted or relied on. This ends in “the horrid doubt.”
Hey, don’t take it from me:
Charles Darwin: “But then with me the horrid doubt always arises whether the convictions of man’s mind, which has been developed from the mind of the lower animals, are of any value or at all trustworthy. Would any one trust in the convictions of a monkey’s mind, if there are any convictions in such a mind?”
