What makes people discuss their relationship problems on talk shows?
Question by xander: What makes people discuss their relationship problems on talk shows?
I mean, daytime talk shows like “Oprah Winfrey”, what makes the individuals decide to appear on these shows to tell the whol eword about their relationship problems and sex addiction etc. I heard they aren’t given appearance money, so what really makes them have the courage to go onto live tv to tell all their deepest secrets to the world? I mean, very personal stuff like cheating spouses and being in the swingers club are very very personal stuff that most people would keep to themselves. I just don’t get it. And anyways, a one hour talk show won’t be able to solve a 10-year relationship problem. I know it can be the start of something good, but wouldn’t these people prefer to do it behind closed doors? What do you think?

Some people really think if they confess this to the world, they will be forgiven and some people just do it for the attention. I think it should be done behind closed doors also.
