Question by Mariee: Help with deciding my senior quote?
So I am a senior in high school, and I need to pick a senior quote for the yearbook, as they were due quite a while ago 😛
I’m just really indecisive. Here are the ones I am considering, tell me your favorites, and/or why you like or don’t like each one; also feel free to suggest others (though not too many, because I am already having trouble deciding!)
“I have always wanted to be somebody, but I see now I should have been more specific.” Lily Tomlin
“Life is about change. Sometimes it’s painful, sometimes it’s beautiful. Most of the time, it’s both.”
“When life gives you lemons, make grape juice and have the world wonder how you did it.”
“Life may not always go the way you want it to go. That doesn’t mean it’ll stop going.”
“Good things come to those who wait, because the better things were taken by those who didn’t.”
“Whatever you are, be a good one.” Abraham Lincoln
“Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it’s time to pause and reflect.” Mark Twain
“If you wait to do everything until you’re sure it’s right, you’ll probably never do much of anything.” Win Borden
“Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious” Brendan Gill
“Ain’t no rhyme or reason, No complicated meaning, Ain’t no need to over think it, Let go laughing.” Sugarland
“Life don’t go quite like you planned it, We try so hard to understand it, Irrefutable, indisputable fact is, It happens.” Sugarland (these last two are from the song “It Happens” by Sugarland)
Please and thank you! 🙂
